The programme will present UREHERIT’s key research outcomes, methodologies, pilot projects, and policy recommendations developed across the project’s thematic pillars: heritage value and damage assessment, participatory reconstruction, architectural design competitions, holistic renovation of modernist housing, and capacity building through education and continuous professional development. High-level discussions will address how these tools and networks can support transparent, inclusive, and sustainable heritage-based recovery in Ukraine.
As a closing milestone, the conference will also present the UREHERIT project book and outline pathways for sustaining cooperation beyond the project’s formal end, reinforcing cultural heritage as a foundation for democratic rebuilding, community resilience, and Ukraine’s European future.
The project is initiated by the Architects Association of Lithuania, co-financed by the European Union program “Creative Europe”.
